Beyond Four Foundation Awards First Scholarship Recipient

This past weekend, we presented our first Beyond Four Years Scholarship recipient, Maria Monteiro, with $500, a Macbook Air, and continued mentorship and support.

Maria graduated in May from Freedom High School and will graduate this December with her Associate's Degree from Valencia College. Maria, like many, has gone through adversity, but she never let her trials and obstacles lead her to defeat. Maria will attend the University of Florida next Spring and aspires to be a Forensic Neuropsychologist.

We wish Maria the best and can't wait to see what the future holds for her!

Previously known as the BLM Scholarship, BeyondFour Foundation changed the name of the scholarship fund to Beyond Four Years. This change makes the scholarship more inclusive to Orange County students attending Valencia College or Full Sail University.
